Job summary

Markem-Imaje North America is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the R&D efforts for the product line, coordinating electrical, mechanical, AME and firmware disciplines. The role partners with the DoD cross-functional leadership to support revenue targets, ensure staffing and effective execution, and manage technical risks across the project portfolio.

The ideal candidate will hold an advanced degree, excel in cross-functional collaboration, and lead a globally distributed team.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in a related science field; PhD is a plus.
• Proven track record of leading multi-disciplinary R&D teams.
• Experience in coordinating DoD-related product development is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide R&D leadership for the product line and coordinate multi-discipline teams.
• Partner with DoD cross-functional leadership to meet revenue and profitability targets.
• Ensure staff coverage, on-time delivery, and effective risk management across the portfolio.
• Drive quality and efficiency within embedded software and hardware teams across multiple sites.
• Manage budgets and mentor team members to develop talent.
