Job summary

FAST Global Solutions, Glenwood, MN, is seeking a Mechanical Designer II to create high-quality 3D models and production drawings for parts, weldments, and assemblies based on customer and internal requirements.

You'll collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and other departments to ensure design accuracy, verify dimensions and tolerances, and support product development from concept through production on the production floor.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of CAD design experience.
• Associate degree in Mechanical Design, Drafting Technology, Engineering Technology, or related field.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing and fabrication processes.
• Proficiency with CAD software and Microsoft Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Create high-quality 3D models and production drawings for parts, weldments, and assemblies based on customer and internal requirements.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and other departments to ensure design accuracy.
• Verify dimensions, materials, tolerances, and manufacturability.
• Support product development from initial concept through production and on the shop floor.
