Job summary

Jabil seeks a Global Materials Manager to lead the materials strategy for the assigned business unit, guiding SCM, procurement, planning and inventory control. You will provide leadership to workcells in factories and align with Jabil’s goals while optimizing cost and performance across global sites.

The role requires strong strategic vision, team development, and the ability to influence across functions. Domestic and international travel is expected as part of partnerships and project delivery.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma and at least 8 years of related experience in electronics manufacturing and materials management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Materials Logistics Management, or related discipline preferred.
• Domestic and international travel is required.

Responsibilities

• Staff the global materials team to meet objectives of Jabil and the customer.
• Establish and communicate expectations of each global position in terms of mission and goals.
• Coach and mentor team members to deliver excellence to internal and external customers.
• Drive individuals and the team to continuously improve in key metrics and the achievement of organizational goals.
• Coordinate activities of teams and keep them focused in times of crises.
