Job summary

Jabil in Memphis is seeking a procurement professional to manage MRP and optimize materials cost. You will develop unique supply chain strategies, audit suppliers, negotiate terms, and collaborate with internal teams to meet customer needs.

The role focuses on improving MPV, AML expansion, and cost-effective sourcing while ensuring compliance with company policies and safety guidelines. This position is on-site at our Memphis facility.

Qualifications

• Develop supply base and Supply Chain strategies tailored to customers or Business Unit materials.
• Collaborate with Purchasing and SCM to meet customer needs and influence Jabil's supply chain approaches.
• Conduct supplier audits, visits, certifications and performance reviews to improve the supply base.

Responsibilities

• Develop supply base and Supply Chain strategies that are unique to customer or for Business Unit Strategic materials.
• Support customer’s business needs using standard processes and customized solutions; collaborate with Purchasing and SCM to meet customer needs.
• Quote new and existing materials; re-quote and negotiate to capitalize on cost reduction opportunities.
• Make sourcing decisions based on total cost and benefits (price, duty, freight, service, quality, terms).
• Negotiate terms and conditions to protect Jabil and customer interests; manage World Wide Purchasing Agreements.
