Job summary

Air Lift Company in Lansing, MI is seeking a Lead Global Supply Chain Manager to oversee materials planning, inventory management, and inbound/outbound logistics to ensure the right products are available when needed while minimizing total landed costs.

You will drive ERP/MRP processes, lead regional and global sourcing and logistics strategies, and coordinate cross-functional efforts with Purchasing, Operations, Engineering, Quality and Finance to deliver cost-effective, resilient supply chains.

Qualifications

• Must have hands-on ERP/MRP proficiency with item master data, BOMs, lead times, safety stock, reorder points, and reporting.
• Experience in manufacturing or complex product environments is required.
• Strong analytical and financial judgment; ability to lead schedules and inventory risk.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional and global materials planning and inventory management to ensure products are available at the right time.
• Manage ERP/MRP planning, BOM accuracy, lead times, safety stock, and inventory transactions.
• Drive SIOP, demand changes, and supplier recovery planning.
• Develop and execute regional and global logistics strategies, optimize freight modes and carrier performance.
• Coordinate cross-functional activities with Purchasing, Operations, Engineering, Quality, Finance and suppliers.
