Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking an Associated Director/Senior Manager, Global Master Data Management Engineering/OPS to own MDM platform design, data landscapes, and governance. The role leads the Engineering/Ops team, partners with IT, and ensures data availability and security across commercial, supply chain, R&D and corporate systems.

You will drive strategic MDM initiatives, own data quality, and collaborate with executives to align with enterprise data strategy and AI readiness.

Qualifications

• BS, BA degree (Business/IT related preferred).
• Minimum 8+ years work experience required.
• Prior people management experience required.
• Experience with MDM platform technologies (SAP MDG / Reltio) – Implementation and Support.
• Creating an Enterprise Master Data Management strategy that supports multi-faceted data architecture, data governance and AI data readiness.
• Strong Project/Account management and Testing Strategy skills.
• Experience with Master Data Management, Supply Chain, R&D, Corporate, and Commercial Systems.
• Strong business acumen and technical skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Results oriented, problem solving/resolution skills.
• Ability to harmonize with senior levels of management and work in a matrix structure.

Responsibilities

• Owner of the Global Master Data Management platform data landscape and harmonization needs.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to the Global Master Data Management Engineering/Ops team.
• Ensure team members have necessary technical and business skills to meet objectives.
• Maintain relationships with partners, expanding MDM knowledge and capabilities.
• Establish metrics to drive process improvements across MDM domains.
• Make independent decisions and present policy recommendations to IT leadership.
• Partner with internal teams to gather requirements for programs interfacing with data warehouses and lakes.
• Lead system improvement initiatives across Master Data Management to boost efficiency.
• Engage executives to plan and execute improvement efforts.
• Lead training and education on MDM tools and access to data.
