Job summary

AST SpaceMobile is seeking a Lead Master Data & Configuration Management Specialist to bridge engineering data with supply chain operations across a multinational environment. You will establish data attributes, country-specific requirements, and governance to support ERP/WMS integration.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams on item master configuration, costing, tax, and regulatory attributes to ensure accurate, enterprise-wide standards and compliant regional setup.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in SCM or related field or equivalent.
• 5+ years managing item masters, inventories, or config params.
• Experience with ERP, MRP, and WMS systems.

Responsibilities

• Item Master Architecture: create and maintain inventory records and SKUs.
• Attribute Mapping: standardize critical data fields (UOM, weight, HS codes).
• System Parameter Logic: configure replenishment triggers and EOQ.
• Storage & Routing Configuration: define warehouse layout logic and temperature controls.
• Data Harmonization: sync profiles across networks and platforms.
• Mass Data Maintenance: bulk uploads and data cleansing using SQL/Excel.
• Lifecycle Change Control: govern item master changes and revisions.
• Audit & Compliance: data health audits for duplicates and missing attributes.
• Finance & Accounting Configuration: define item-level financial attributes and GL mappings.
• Costing, Tax & Compliance Attributes: maintain tax, duty, depreciation fields.
• Country-Specific ERP Setup: local tax, regulatory, currency, and localization needs.
• Procurement & Supplier Data Setup: manage vendor data and sourcing rules.
• Cross-Functional Master Data Governance: align multiple teams to complete records.
