Job summary

Westlake Chemical Corporation seeks a Master Data Supervisor to lead the Master Data Center of Excellence, partnering with Plant & Corporate leaders to optimize Customer, Vendor, Supplier, and Material data. This role emphasizes proactive process improvement, strong cross-functional leadership, and collaborative work environment.

The incumbent will oversee global data quality initiatives, mentor staff, and drive training on data management across a manufacturing landscape.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Science, or related field preferred.
Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience with ERP systems (SAP, JDE preferred).
Proven cross-functional decision-making, issue resolution, and process improvement in a complex manufacturing environment.
Strong data analysis/reporting proficiency (Excel, Access, PowerPoint).
Excellent project management, leadership, and influencing skills.
Effective communication in a matrixed environment.
Experience creating training materials and delivering training to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

Optimize Master Data processes to improve plant operations and data quality.
Create and maintain training materials; conduct training sessions to mentor staff.
Own accuracy and speed of new master data creation and extension requests.
Perform quality checks on material master data and update as needed to fix errors.
Guide key users on master data structures and inter-dependencies.
Execute master data cleanup activities with IS team coordination.
