Job summary

The Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. seeks an Associate for Client Onboarding & Configuration in Salt Lake City, Utah.

You will engage in client service and relationship support, manage operational risk in account opening, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve controls and reporting. You will work with Compliance to define policies, design system enhancements, and ensure Know Your Customer compliance to prevent financial crimes, while coordinating trading relationships and data quality

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Analytics or a related field.
Two years of experience in client onboarding, risk management, or related roles.
Experience building relationships with external/internal clients and working on time-sensitive projects with global teams.

Responsibilities

Engage in client service and relationship support, risk management and regulatory adherence for onboarding workflows.
Identify and mitigate operational risks in daily account opening processes; implement controls and reporting enhancements.
Collaborate with Compliance and engineering to define policies, controls and system enhancements to reduce risk.
Maintain data quality and coordinate trading relationships for institutional clients and escalation of issues.
