Job summary

The Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. in Salt Lake City seeks an Associate, Client Onboarding & Configuration to support client onboarding, account setup, and regulatory compliance. You will coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate reporting and risk controls.

You will work with Compliance and engineering to implement policy changes, manage due diligence, and maintain data quality for institutional clients, overseeing front-to-back processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Analytics or related field and two years of experience in related role.
• Two years building relationships with external and internal clients to understand trading needs and determine individual needs.
• One year analyzing large data sets (10,000+ lines) and using self-service tools like Alteryx, Tableau, SQL, Data Warehousing, Defensive Design Methods and RPA robotics.

Responsibilities

• Engage in client service and relationship support, risk management, regulatory adherence and other related tasks.
• Provide operational risk management and oversight for the Firm's account opening workflow and processes, including identifying and managing potential risks.
• Work with Compliance to define and implement firm policies and controls that minimize market or earnings risk and collaborate with engineering to design system enhancements.
• Create all new client trading accounts and coordinate additional trading features and account types for existing clients.
• Maintain and establish relationships with institutional clients, facilitate front-to-back coordination and timely elevate potential relationship issues.
• Ensure due diligence to protect the firm's assets by complying with Know Your Customer regulations to prevent financial crimes.
