Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. in Towson, MD or remote is seeking a Manager, Market Intelligence to shape strategy for Tools & Outdoor by delivering actionable insights across U.S., Europe, and key markets.

The role partners with cross-functional teams to synthesize data into clear recommendations, build dashboards, and influence business decisions. A 5+ year track record in market intelligence and strong storytelling are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in market intelligence, insights, analytics, strategy or related fields.
• Experience with multiple data sources (Euromonitor, Circana/NPD, Numerator, YipitData, GfK/NIQ, retailer POS, etc.).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to synthesize large data sets.
• Excellent communication and storytelling, with strong presentation and stakeholder skills.
• Project management in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver market and competitive insights across the U.S., Europe, and priority international markets.
• Partner with cross-functional and regional teams to identify trends and opportunities.
• Translate data into clear, actionable recommendations for business leaders.
• Develop dashboards and visualizations to communicate market dynamics and actions.
• Collaborate with category management, brand insights, and commercial teams to embed insights into decisions.
• Manage multiple workstreams and external data partners to improve insight generation.
