Job summary

AbbVie seeks a senior leader to shape global pricing and access strategies for Venetoclax, directing cross-functional teams across international markets and affiliates.

You will leverage clinical and health-economic expertise to optimize price, reimbursement, and patient access, partnering with iMAP and external stakeholders.

This role requires strategic influence, strong communication, and the ability to navigate regulatory and payer landscapes across multiple regions.

Qualifications

• More than 5 years of direct biotechnology/pharmaceutical industry and/or payer experience.
• Strong interest in clinical and health economic data.
• Ability to interact with senior leaders across divisions (Global Commercial Leaders, Forecasting, Clinical Development, HEOR, MHI, Regulatory).
• Leadership, intrapersonal, critical thinking and analytical skills to align market access with corporate goals.

Responsibilities

• Address pricing, reimbursement, access issues across international markets including EU5, CAN, JPN, AUS, and BRA.
• Co-lead the VAT through the creation of Integrated Access Strategies with the Director of iMAP.
• Update global access materials based on market insights and competitor dynamics.
• Collaborate with Pricing, HTA Strategy, GHEOR, and other functions to ensure understanding of payer markets and stakeholders.
• Lead project management with purchasing support and opening of POs.
