Ionis Pharmaceuticals, Inc. is seeking a strategic Director, Global Market Access to shape pricing and access for assets across US and key global markets. Lead the design of value propositions and ensure payer alignment with development plans.

The role reports to the Head of Global Market Access and combines collaboration with commercial, regulatory and clinical teams to optimize product value. Hybrid/remote work options are available, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of global market access landscapes and HTA processes.
• Experience in shaping pricing and access strategies to support US and global markets.
• Ability to translate payer requirements into development plans.

Responsibilities

• Lead asset-specific global market access strategies across markets.
• Integrate payer requirements into clinical and evidence plans.
• Assess US and global pricing and reimbursement potential.
• Lead scientific advisory interactions for payer submissions.
• Create payer value propositions and global pricing policies.
• Collaborate with Commercial, Medical Affairs, HEOR, Regulatory and others.
• Manage external partners for market research on access landscapes.
