Job summary

Saildrone, headquartered in Alameda, CA, seeks a Logistics Coordinator to plan and execute shipments, oversee compliance, and support field teams. The role drives cost efficiency and timely deliveries for a fleet of autonomous vessels.

The ideal candidate will manage complex international logistics, coordinate with freight forwarders, and ensure accurate documentation while traveling as required.

Qualifications

• Experience in freight forwarding or logistics.
• Knowledge of Air, Ocean, FTL and LTL logistics.
• At least two years executing complex international logistics.
• Understanding of domestic and international shipping documentation.
• Familiarity with UPS, FedEx, and other carriers.
• Willingness to work extended hours and travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Execute shipping and global cargo logistics, coordinating timing and documentation.
• Communicate with cargo forwarders, customs agents, and trucking companies worldwide.
• Prepare customs documentation including invoices, carnets, and bills of lading.
• Maintain inventory at forward operating locations for timely repairs.
• Manage shipment processes to support global missions.
• Coordinate domestic and international shipping needs of the business.
