Express Employment Professionals is recruiting a Project Manager for a growing marine industry wholesale distributor in Clearwater, FL. You will lead cross-functional projects spanning supply chain, procurement, manufacturing, and product development, coordinating with overseas and domestic teams to ensure timely delivery.

The role emphasizes hands-on problem solving, forecasting, and KPI tracking, with responsibilities including supplier negotiations, inventory planning, and ensuring compliance

Qualifications

• Experience in project management within supply chain, procurement, manufacturing, distribution, or related environments.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute supply chain projects, including sourcing initiatives, supplier negotiations, and procurement strategies.
• Coordinate manufacturing projects between overseas production facilities and domestic distribution operations to ensure timely product delivery.
• Support new product development efforts by collaborating with engineering, design, and operational teams.
• Forecast demand and work with sales and operations teams to optimize inventory levels and supply planning.
• Coordinate logistics, freight schedules, imports, and shipping requirements.
• Implement and monitor quality control processes to ensure products meet industry standards and customer expectations.
• Ensure project compliance with applicable safety, environmental, and operational requirements.
• Act as a liaison between procurement, manufacturing, sales, customer service, and other departments to align project goals and timelines.
• Track project milestones, budgets, timelines, and key performance indicators.
• Prepare regular project updates and reports for leadership.
