Job summary

Rockwell Automation is seeking a senior leader to guide a global Manufacturing Test Engineering organization responsible for developing, deploying, sustaining, and improving test systems across operations. You will partner with Product Development, Manufacturing Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, IT, cybersecurity, and suppliers to deliver safe, scalable, and standardized solutions.

The role reports to the Sr Manager, Test Engineering with a hybrid schedule in Mequon, WI, driving production

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Years of Relevant Work Experience.
• Willingness to travel 15% of the time.
• Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, recruit, coach, and develop a high-performing team for design, implementation, and support of manufacturing test systems.
• Establish performance indicators and drive Lean, Six Sigma, and data-driven problem-solving to improve project execution and reliability.
• Oversee design of complete test systems including electrical, software, and mechanical components.
• Manage engineering laboratories and development spaces for prototyping, validation, and testing.
• Establish lifecycle-management for test assets with IT/OT integration and cybersecurity.
• Build partnerships with suppliers, OEMs, and system integrators to enhance capability and cost effectiveness.
• Translate technology roadmaps into actionable business objectives and project roadmaps.
• Evaluate decisions balancing cost, quality, risk, and scalability.
• Lead resolution of complex challenges and align multi-site teams around priorities.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, quality, and environmental regulations and Rockwell policies.
