Job summary

Rockwell Automation is seeking a senior leader to head a global Manufacturing Test Engineering organization responsible for developing, deploying, sustaining, and improving manufacturing test systems. You will report to the Sr Manager, Test Engineering and work on a hybrid schedule in Mequon, WI.

Lead a high‑performing team, drive governance, and partner with Product Development, Manufacturing Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, IT and cybersecurity to deliver safe, scalable, and standardized

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.
Eight+ years of engineering leadership experience preferred.
Experience developing manufacturing test, automation, or assembly equipment.
Experience applying Agile/SAFe, Lean Six Sigma or related methodologies.

Responsibilities

Lead, recruit, coach, and develop a high-performing team to design, implement, and support test systems.
Establish performance indicators and drive continuous improvement using data-driven methods.
Oversee design and implementation of complete test systems including electrical architecture and software.
Manage engineering laboratories and prototyping spaces.
Establish lifecycle-management practices for test assets with IT and cybersecurity.
Build strategic partnerships with suppliers and system integrators.
Develop long-term technology and equipment roadmaps aligned with business goals.
Evaluate decisions balancing cost, quality, risk, and scalability.
Lead resolution of complex challenges across cross-functional, multi-site teams.
