Job summary

Torrey Holistics is seeking a Purchasing Coordinator to manage customer accounts, process POs, monitor inventory, and schedule shipments of custom parts from overseas suppliers. You will handle communications with vendors and internal teams, ensuring on-time delivery and alignment with customer requirements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years purchasing experience in manufacturing or distribution/inventory.
• Experience with overseas vendors is strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of OEM metal/plastic components and blueprints is preferred.
• Advanced MS Excel skills; MS Word and Outlook proficiency.
• ERP software experience, preferably Oracle Netsuite, is a must.
• Strong negotiation, communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to build rapport with clients and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Handle existing customer accounts and process purchase orders.
• Track, update and manage inventory levels and scheduling shipments.
• Coordinate shipments from overseas vendors to customers.
• Communicate with multiple departments daily and resolve inquiries.
• Analyze purchasing needs based on orders and inventory levels.
• Support new projects from order placement to delivery.
