Torrey Holistics is seeking an Expeditor to support daily manufacturing operations. You will monitor production schedules, expedite priority work, and ensure materials and documentation flow smoothly through the facility.

Collaboration with Production, Materials, Quality, and Shipping is essential to keep orders on schedule. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced precision manufacturing environment and is highly organized with strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in manufacturing, production planning, scheduling, or operations support.
• Experience using an ERP/MRP system is preferred.
• Ability to read manufacturing work orders and production documentation.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work on the production floor.

Responsibilities

• Monitor production schedules and expedite jobs to meet customer delivery commitments.
• Track work orders through each manufacturing operation and identify potential delays.
• Coordinate with supervisors to prioritize hot jobs and customer expedites.
• Stage and move materials between departments to support production flow.
• Update ERP system with work order status, completions, and inventory transactions.
• Verify materials, routers, and travelers accompany each job.
• Communicate schedule changes and production status to Operations and Customer Service.
• Support cycle counts and inventory accuracy initiatives.
• Assist Receiving, Shipping, and Warehouse during peak periods.
• Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment (or obtain certification).
• Maintain an organized warehouse and production staging areas.
• Coordinate daily production schedules based on customer demand and manufacturing priorities.
