Job summary

Crane Currency seeks a Director of Manufacturing Engineering to provide strategic leadership for its global engineering organization. You will guide capital investments, manufacturing transfers, and technical roadmaps to enhance capacity, reliability, and efficiency across sites.

The role requires building high-performing teams and driving IQ/OQ/PQ validation in a regulated environment. You will lead capital projects from conception to handoff, manage budgets and risk, and establish governance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Chemical, Electrical or related Engineering field.
• Minimum 15 years in progressive engineering roles within manufacturing.
• Minimum 8 years in leadership roles managing engineering teams.
• Experience leading capital investments, facility expansions or capacity growth.
• Experience with manufacturing transfers and technology deployments.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy, planning and execution of capital equipment projects from business case to handoff.
• Oversee equipment specification, vendor selection, FAT, SAT and integration.
• Direct installation, commissioning, startup and integration of manufacturing equipment.
• Manage budgets, schedules, resources and risk for capital projects.
• Establish governance, milestones and KPIs to monitor delivery and accountability.
• Lead site-to-site manufacturing and technology transfer programs.
• Ensure IQ/OQ/PQ protocols and regulatory/quality compliance.
• Build partnerships across global sites to support capital deployment.
