Job summary

Iron Mountain is seeking a visionary Manufacturing Engineering Director to join our Global Operations team. You will lead a high‑performing global team of process engineers, lean specialists, test engineers and automation architects dedicated to standardizing and optimizing complex, high‑variation manufacturing environments while prioritizing safety and zero‑defect quality.

Qualifications

10–15+ years of senior leadership in a High‑Variation/High‑Mix manufacturing environment.
Expert‑level knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma Black Belt; practical Cobots and ML sensors experience.
Experience managing remote teams across international time zones (EMEA, AMER, APAC).
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering; MBA is a significant advantage.

Responsibilities

Drive Global Process Standardization: design and implement a global framework across sites.
Lead Lean & Continuous Improvement: conduct VSM and Kaizen to build a high-ROI pipeline.
Advance Automation & Industry 4.0: augment workflows with Cobots and ML-driven predictive maintenance.
Ensure Safety & Quality Compliance: enforce safety protocols and align outputs with client quality agreements.
