Job summary

Humanscale is seeking a Global Director of Manufacturing Engineering to lead manufacturing engineering across multiple facilities worldwide, shaping quality, process, and product engineering strategy to meet customer needs and regulatory requirements.

Reporting to the Vice President of Global Operations, this leader will drive lean initiatives, optimize processes, and collaborate with operations, R&D, supply chain and quality to deliver operational excellence and growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific or engineering field.
• 15+ years of quality leadership in a multi-site manufacturing environment.
• 5+ years of Director-level experience in Quality is highly desirable.
• ISO9001 and ISO13485 quality management experience is a must.
• Experience with product certifications (UL, CE, TUV) desirable.
• Lean Manufacturing and Poke Yoke knowledge desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the global manufacturing engineering strategy in alignment with company objectives.
• Lead and manage a team of manufacturing engineers, providing guidance and mentorship.
• Manage budgets, staffing, and resources to achieve goals.
• Drive cost reduction initiatives while maintaining quality and efficiency.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies to adopt advanced manufacturing techniques.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless global operations.
