Job summary

Crane Currency seeks a Director of Manufacturing Engineering to lead our global engineering organization in Alpharetta, GA or Nashua, NH, guiding capital investments, technology transfers, and engineering roadmaps across sites.

You will establish standards, drive innovation, and develop high-performing teams while ensuring regulatory readiness and operational excellence through IQ, OQ, and PQ protocols.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or commensurate experience.
• 15 years of progressive engineering experience within a manufacturing environment.
• 8 years of leadership experience managing engineering organizations and technical professionals.
• Demonstrated success leading engineering teams across multiple facilities or geographic locations.
• Proven experience leading large-scale capital investments, facility expansions, manufacturing modernization initiatives, or capacity growth programs.
• Experience leading manufacturing transfers, technology deployments, operational readiness programs, or site transition activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead global engineering strategy, capital investments, manufacturing transfers, and technical roadmaps that improve capacity and efficiency.
• Establish engineering standards and build high-performing teams and future technical leaders.
• Lead capital equipment and technology transfer projects through installation, IQ, OQ, and PQ validation.
• Oversee equipment specification, vendor selection, FAT/SAT, and site acceptance testing.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, resources, and risk to ensure delivery.
• Build partnerships across global sites to support capital deployment and transfers.
