Job summary

Crane Currency is seeking a Director of Manufacturing Engineering to lead our global engineering organization from Alpharetta, GA or Nashua, NH. You will drive capital investments, technology transfer, and manufacturing modernization across multiple sites, ensuring readiness and operational excellence.

You will build high-performing teams, establish engineering standards, and oversee IQ/OQ/PQ validation, with travel to suppliers and production sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Chemical, Electrical Engineering, or commensurate experience.
• Minimum of 15 years of progressive engineering experience in manufacturing.
• Minimum of 8 years of leadership experience managing engineering organizations and technical professionals.
• Proven experience leading teams across multiple facilities or locations.
• Experience leading large-scale capital investments, facility expansions, modernization initiatives, or capacity growth.

Responsibilities

• Lead global engineering strategy, capital investments, and technology transfer programs across sites.
• Oversee equipment specifications, FAT/SAT, installation, commissioning, and qualification (IQ/OQ/PQ).
• Manage capital project budgets, schedules, resources, and risk mitigation.
• Establish governance, milestones, and performance metrics for projects.
• Build partnerships across sites to support deployment of technology and capital projects.
