Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking Manufacturing Engineers to scale up production for new products across a global network. You will lead quality control with CM/ODM partners and fix issues during launches, providing hands-on technical support and thorough root-cause analysis.

Domestic and international travel is expected (25-50%). Ideal candidates have 3+ years in high-volume manufacturing or sourcing, a degree in Mechanical/Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering, and 2+ years in manufacturing

Qualifications

• 3+ years of high volume manufacturing operations or sourcing environments experience.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering or similar related field or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of Manufacturing Engineering work experience with server platforms or on high-tech hardware.
• 2+ years of product development experience.

Responsibilities

• Scale up manufacturing on new products across a global network.
• Lead and oversee quality control processes across CM, ODM, and component vendors.
• Deliver hands-on technical support during new product introductions and launches.
• Investigate and resolve customer escalations through comprehensive root cause analysis.
• Support global operations through regular domestic and international travel (25-50% of time).
