Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking Manufacturing Engineers to own the launch of manufacturing tooling, fixtures, and processes for scalable production across a global network. You will work with ODMs, CMs, and AWS hardware teams to standardize tooling and drive cross-site consistency.

The role requires ownership of the manufacturing launch, troubleshooting, and travel up to 50% internationally. Ideal candidates have 6+ years in high-volume manufacturing and 5+ years in tooling and fixture

Qualifications

• 6+ years of high volume manufacturing operations or sourcing environments.
• 5+ years of tooling and test fixture development.
• 2+ years of Manufacturing Engineering work experience with server platforms or high-tech hardware.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement manufacturing test fixtures at the Server and Rack level.
• Define all processes around the assembly and test fixtures to ensure the desired result.
• Scale up tooling, fixturing and process across our manufacturing network.
• Support global operations through regular domestic and international travel (25-50% of time)
