Job summary

Amazon Web Services’ Hardware Engineering team in Austin, Texas seeks an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to scale production across a global network. You will own PFMEAs, control plans, and process flows from startup through end of life, driving launches and resolving issues with ODMs, CMs, and component vendors.

This role requires 25-50% travel, hands-on NPI support, and a strong background in high-volume manufacturing and product development for server platforms or high-tech hardware.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in high-volume manufacturing operations or sourcing.
• Bachelor's or Master's in Mechanical/Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
• 2+ years of Manufacturing Engineering experience with server platforms or high-tech hardware.
• 2+ years of product development experience.

Responsibilities

• Scale up manufacturing on new products across a global network.
• Lead and oversee quality control processes across CM, ODM, and component vendors.
• Deliver hands-on technical support during new product introductions and launches.
• Investigate and resolve customer escalations through root cause analysis.
• Travel internationally 25-50% to support operations.
