Job summary

Amazon Web Services’ Hardware Engineering team is looking for Manufacturing Engineers who are capable of operating in a fast-paced, multi-platform international manufacturing environment. We will own PFMEAs, Control Plans and process flows from startup through the end of life of the product, driving production across a global network.

You will collaborate with ODMs, CMs, and internal AWS hardware and software teams to scale processes, troubleshoot issues, and ensure throughput and quality

Qualifications

• 3+ years of high-volume manufacturing operations or sourcing experience.
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering or similar related field or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of Manufacturing Engineering work experience with server platforms or on high-tech hardware.
• 2+ years of product development experience.

Responsibilities

• Scale up manufacturing on new products across a global network.
• Lead and oversee quality control processes across CM, ODM, and component vendors.
• Deliver hands-on technical support during new product introductions and launches.
• Investigate and resolve customer escalations through root cause analysis.
• Support global operations through regular domestic and international travel (25-50%).
