Job summary

Amazon Web Services’ Hardware Engineering team seeks Manufacturing Engineers to scale production for a world‑class cloud platform across a global network. You will own PFMEAs, Control Plans and manufacturing processes from startup through end‑of‑life, partnering with CM/ODM and component vendors to drive quality and throughput.

You will join a diverse group of software, hardware and operations professionals.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of high volume manufacturing operations or sourcing experience.
• 2+ years in Manufacturing Engineering on server platforms or high-tech hardware.
• 5+ years of product development experience.

Responsibilities

• Scale up manufacturing on new products across a global network.
• Lead and oversee quality control processes across Contract Manufacturers (CM), Original Design Manufacturers (ODM), and component vendors
• Deliver hands-on technical support during new product introductions and launches
• Investigate and resolve customer escalations through comprehensive root cause analysis
• Support global operations through regular domestic and international travel (25-50% of time)
