Job summary

Nielsen is seeking a Senior Program Manager, Manager Development to shape and scale our enterprise manager development architecture. You will partner with senior leaders and HRBPs to convert strategy into modern, tech-forward manager capabilities, spanning onboarding, coaching, and AI fluency.

You will own a global portfolio, deploying human-centered design, learning analytics, and leadership assessment models to elevate business performance and strengthen our talent bench at scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in OD, IO psychology, HR, or business preferred.
• 7–10+ years designing and scaling leadership and manager development in global orgs.
• Deep expertise in end-to-end learning design using human-centered design and modern tech.
• Experience with leadership assessment models (360s, psychometrics) and coaching certifications valued.
• Proven ability to manage global vendor partnerships and navigate matrixed environments.
• Strong data analytics to prove ROI and pipeline health; excellent facilitation and influencing skills.

Responsibilities

• Architect and manage a best-in-class manager development portfolio aligned with business priorities.
• Design and scale onboarding journeys and inflection points for onboarding and upskilling.
• Build targeted capability solutions across a global manager population (coaching, feedback, AI fluency).
• Serve as hands-on instructional designer for the portfolio from concept to deployment.
• Apply human-centered design to create frictionless, impactful learning experiences.
• Partner with Talent, Learning, Culture and HRBP teams to address talent challenges and trends.
