Job summary

Visa is seeking a Manager, Global Corporate Development to support the identification, evaluation, and execution of strategic acquisitions, joint ventures, and minority investments. The role emphasizes financial modeling, due diligence, and cross-functional teamwork across Visa's global businesses.

Ideal candidates have 6+ years in related fields, strong analytical/hard skills, and proven ability to work with senior stakeholders. Some travel is required in this hybrid role.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years with a PhD.
• 4+ years of experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate development, or strategy consulting (preferably with M&A exposure)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated intellectual and analytical rigor, including financial and valuation analyses
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with developing experience preparing materials for senior stakeholders
• Experience working in a fast-paced, demanding environment with highly motivated professionals
• Strong work ethic, curiosity, and collaborative problem-solving across teams
• Familiarity with payments, fintech, or financial services industries is a strong plus

Responsibilities

• Support Visa's growth strategy through identification, assessment, and execution of potential mergers, acquisitions, investments, and joint ventures
• Assist with research into industry trends and opportunities for growth within Visa's existing businesses and expansion into new areas
• Conduct valuation and business case modeling to guide potential acquisitions and investments
• Partner with CDMA leaders and business units on strategy development and deal flow processes
• Track pipeline, market outreach, and deal flow for ongoing discussions with sponsors and stakeholders
• Participate in detailed due diligence and escalation of critical findings to senior team members
• Prepare presentations for Visa's senior leadership conveying clear narratives and trade-offs
• Support post-close planning with Integration/Separation teams
• Engage with investment banking, PE, and VC relationships and coordinate related activities
• Contribute to Visa's M&A activities and cross-functional collaboration
