Job summary

Meta is seeking an experienced transportation manager to build partnerships, support scaling, manage escalations, roll out tooling, and coordinate execution across 1 GW data center sites with 7-day operations on a 5-day schedule.

This role requires mentoring, operating complex programs, engaging stakeholders, and aligning logistics with business goals. It will oversee warehouse operations and travel about 25% for on-site management and audits.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in warehouse/3PL/transportation management or similar roles.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams in a matrixed org.
• Proven track record with WMS/TMS and cost management.
• Ability to set standards, metrics and SOPs across regions.
• Hands-on with data analysis, reporting and budget adherence.
• Willingness to travel up to ~25% across North America.
• Experience managing international shipments and 3PLs.

Responsibilities

• Engage with internal customers to shape the team's roadmap.
• Move goods and coordinate schedules for timely delivery.
• Negotiate carrier rates and benchmark against peers.
• Develop and maintain carrier relationships and contracts.
• Track KPIs and analyze data to drive improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align logistics goals.
• Manage international shipments with import/export compliance.
• Mentor teams and scale processes for growth.
