Qualifications

• 2+ years in supply chain, purchasing, or logistics.
• Automotive industry experience preferred.
• Experience working with Japanese companies preferred.
• Strong understanding of Japanese business practices.
• Excellent communication, coordination, negotiation and relationship skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Ability to analyze inventory, purchasing and supply chain data.
• Experience with ERP and purchasing systems.
• Ability to work independently and with cross-cultural teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage international logistics documentation and compliance.
• Direct commercial activities by evaluating demand and negotiating with suppliers.
• Monitor shipment accuracy, on-time delivery, and SLAs.
• Forecast demand and oversee ordering to avoid aged inventory.
• Ensure forecast alignment with customer orders; support working capital planning.
• Support month-end financial reporting and receivables.
• Identify process improvements and drive cross-functional projects.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
