Job summary

Workhorse Group is seeking a Logistics Specialist to coordinate and monitor the movement of materials and shipments across the Global supply chain from our Wixom, Michigan operation. You will ensure timely, cost-effective transportation and partner with carriers, suppliers, customers, and internal teams to support freight optimization and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities include HTS classification, customs compliance, documentation, and data analysis of key metrics such as on-time

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
• 3–5 years of logistics, transportation, or supply chain experience.
• Knowledge of TMS, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate transportation and shipments to meet delivery schedules.
• Develop and execute transportation market intelligence to identify partners and negotiate agreements.
• Create and deploy processes for multi-location operations and ensure reliable movement of products.
• Provide oversight of HTS classification, customs compliance, and border clearance processes.
• Track freight costs and transportation performance and analyze data for improvements.
• Collaborate with purchasing, production, warehousing, and customer service teams.
