Job summary

Maharam, part of MillerKnoll, is seeking a Logistics Lead to manage inbound and outbound shipments domestically and internationally under minimal supervision.

You will produce documentation, coordinate with forwarders, oversee coordinators, train staff, and handle HR duties for direct reports. The role reports to the Senior Director, Fulfillment, with a compensation range and strong benefits.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Adobe PDF.
• Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Inbound and outbound logistics management for domestic and international shipments.
• Produce documentation, track shipments, and communicate with forwarders and customs brokers.
• Oversee Logistics coordinators and provide training to department personnel.
• Handle HR responsibilities for direct reports, including hiring and check-ins.
• Prepare freight quotes and coordinate import/export (ocean/air) shipments.
• Review, log and approve freight invoices; reconciliations as needed.
• Escalate and resolve issues; maintain SLA responses to Jira tickets.
• Support cross-department delivery coordination and cost-savings analyses.
