CACI International Inc in Washington, DC seeks a Journeyman Logistics Specialist to support the GMOS contract for the Department of State, guiding a high-performing team to deliver IT logistics excellence.

The role covers international shipping, diplomatic pouch handling, ILMS tracking, and asset management. A Secret clearance and 4+ years in logistics are required. This environment offers mission impact and strong growth opportunities.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree plus 4 years in logistics, supply chain, inventory, or transportation coordination.
Active Secret Clearance.
Experience with international shipping, customs procedures, and overseas logistics coordination.
Diplomatic pouch procedures, 14 FAM requirements, and DOS shipping protocols.
IT equipment handling, inventory management, and break-fix component maintenance.
Strong organizational and coordination skills for multiple shipments and tight timelines.

Responsabilités

Manage all packaging and shipping processes for IT equipment, including overseas shipments.
Ship equipment with lead time to overseas posts at least two weeks before installation.
Coordinate with the DOS pouch facility for shipments to foreign locations and track via ILMS.
Review bills of lading and packing lists as part of receipt procedures.
Provide courier/transport services and support domestic and overseas shipments.
Maintain adequate quantities of break-fix computers to meet SLAs.
Document shipments and inventory movements to ensure asset accountability.
Coordinate with customs and freight forwarders to navigate international shipping requirements.
Develop innovative solutions to complex transportation and supply chain problems.
