Job summary

Disher is partnering with a global supply chain solutions organization to hire a Global Solutions Design Engineer. You will translate complex customer service supply chain challenges into scalable, commercially sound solutions across the service portfolio, balancing performance, scalability, feasibility and economics.

You will lead discovery, design end-to-end solutions, validate economics, and own the deal-to-delivery process, collaborating with Sales, Operations, Pricing and Technology teams

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, solution design, consulting, or pre-sales.
• Experience with service parts logistics, warehousing, inventory, transportation, and reverse logistics.
• Experience designing complex solutions across geographies and multiple entities.
• Experience working with customers in discovery, solution design, or pre-sales.
• Proven ability to present complex proposals to operational and executive audiences.
• Willingness to travel; US work authorization is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead customer discovery to understand priorities, operating models, data and outcomes.
• Translate requirements into end-to-end designs covering inventory, warehousing, fulfillment, transport, and tech.
• Analyze data to validate assumptions, quantify needs, and compare options.
• Develop scalable solutions leveraging standard capabilities; justify tradeoffs and non-standard implications.
• Provide analytical and economic rationale; validate pricing and operations assumptions with stakeholders.
• Own solution strategy and content for RFP/RFQ responses and client engagements.
• Lead Statements of Work development with Sales, Operations, and other teams.
• Ensure implementation handoff reflects approved design and maintain design integrity through delivery.
• Share knowledge across teams to reduce risk and improve outcomes.
• Coach Sales on capabilities and design principles for customer solutions.
• Travel as required.
