Job summary

DP World Contract Logistics is seeking a Solutions Analyst to bridge business needs and technology solutions. You will translate requirements into functional specifications and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative supply chain solutions.

The role focuses on IT solution architecture, functional specs, and supporting deployments through warranty. Candidates should have 5+ years in IT within logistics and be willing to travel internationally as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent industry experience with 5+ years in IT in logistics/supply chain.
• 5+ years delivering complex Warehouse Management, Supply Chain and Logistics solutions within a 3PL or commercial WMS environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to apply creativity and critical thinking to problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Define IT solution architecture and design incorporating engineering, operations, and customer requirements.
• Produce Functional Specifications to support delivery of new projects and change requests.
• Collaborate with Customers, IT Analyst team, Business Development, Engineering, Process Engineering & Operations; facilitate design workshops.
• Conduct Business Analysis, gap reviews, impact assessments and document Functional Requirements.
• Design practical, cost-effective solutions with options, risks, and recommendations, considering geography, time, budget, and resources.
• Prepare Functional Specifications with appropriate sign-offs and liaise with stakeholders across the project lifecycle.
• Support onsite deployments through warranty periods and coordinate between operations and software development teams.
• Manage issue logging in conjunction with the IT Project Manager and assist with system integration testing.
