Job summary

nVent is seeking a Quality Engineer to lead logistics quality across global distribution centers. You will define and implement the quality strategy for logistics and drive cross-site improvements with a formal QMS.

Responsibilities include leading audits, applying FMEA and Control Plans, and guiding teams through RCCA, 8D, and 5-Whys investigations while promoting a culture of continuous improvement and cost reduction in a dynamic global environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering, quality management, or related field.
5+ years in quality engineering roles.
3+ years with logistics and distribution teams.
ASQ CQE and CQM certifications preferred.
ISO-9001 certification experience.
Travel up to 30% domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement the quality strategy for logistics and distribution.
Establish a multi-site QMS across DC locations.
Develop a Quality Playbook for Logistics to standardize processes.
Lead audits and PDCA improvements; drive containment and root-cause investigations.
Collaborate with leadership to deploy a quality culture and cost-of-poor-quality reduction.
