Job summary

nVent is seeking aQuality Management professional to serve as Management Representative for the Quality Management System in our Mississippi operations. The role focuses on maintaining ISO 9001 certification, driving process and product improvements, and leading quality initiatives across manufacturing and engineering teams.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of industrial quality experience, familiarity with root cause analyses, and strong collaboration with internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience driving quality outcomes in an industrial environment
• ISO-certified manufacturing experience preferred
• Experience performing root cause analyses (e.g., fishbone, 8D, 5-why)
• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
• Knowledge of metal fabrication operations and reading blueprints is a plus
• Proficiency with MS Office and strong interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Serve as Management Representative for the Quality Management System
• Maintain ISO 9001 certification and ensure ongoing compliance
• Develop and maintain quality performance dashboards; track and report trends and metrics
• Partner with manufacturing, engineering, and field service to drive process and product improvements
• Support purchasing group in assessing and ensuring supplier quality and performance
• Plan and implement internal quality audits and host customer quality audits
• Perform root cause analyses and drive corrective action
• Develop and maintain quality system documentation including policies and procedures
• Supervise and develop employees; issue assignments and provide growth opportunities
• Develop and deliver training on the quality program and expectations
