Job summary

Nordex North America seeks a Logistics Project Manager in Chicago to drive end-to-end logistics projects, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure on-time, cost-efficient delivery of materials for clean power plant projects.

You will lead budgeting, supplier contracts, and compliance, while prioritizing safety and route optimization. Domestic and international travel may be required, with a supportive rewards package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience (3-5 years) required.
• 3+ years’ experience in transportation planning/project cargo required.
• Ability to read and understand scopes of work and MSA contracts.
• Knowledge of import/export regulations for different countries and compliances.
• Experience working with cost models and/or performing cost analysis.
• Excellent Project Management skills, including planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Knowledge of SAP is preferred.
• Strong data analysis and calendaring abilities.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end process for assigned logistics projects.
• Manage budget for all assigned projects.
• Execute logistics supplier contracts on projects.
• Complete customs documentation with carriers and brokers.
• Lead meetings, prepare reports, and update senior management.
• Ensure safety instructions are followed during port operations.
• Plan, execute and monitor logistics aligned with goals.
• Manage route improvements to meet delivery schedules.
• Collaborate with transportation suppliers and procurement.
• Track KPIs and shipments status using project tools.
