Job summary

Unimacts is seeking a Logistics Project Manager to coordinate and manage logistics activities from shipment release through final delivery to the customer. You will track shipments, develop delivery schedules, coordinate with customs brokers, freight forwarders, carriers, and warehouses, and ensure accurate documentation and invoice review.

This role supports FTZ, bonded, and customs activities with training provided.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, or project logistics.
• Experience coordinating ocean freight, trucking, warehousing, and final-mile deliveries.
• Familiarity with US import clearance processes.
• Strong Excel skills and experience maintaining operational trackers and schedules.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
• Ability to work independently, identify issues, and drive actions through completion.
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
• FTZ/bonded warehouse knowledge is preferred; training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned logistics projects from shipment release through final customer delivery.
• Develop and maintain project delivery schedules based on material readiness, vessel/container arrival dates, warehouse capacity, and customer requirements.
• Track international and domestic shipments and maintain accurate project trackers and delivery reports.
• Coordinate with customs brokers, freight forwarders, carriers, warehouses, and other logistics vendors.
• Review Arrival Notices, monitor customs clearance, and provide Delivery Orders and required documents to warehouses and carriers.
• Coordinate final-mile trucking, loading schedules, delivery appointments, and customer site requirements.
• Prepare and distribute Bills of Lading, delivery schedules, shipping instructions, and related transportation documents.
• Maintain regular communication with customers, including project kickoff meetings and weekly delivery updates.
• Require carriers and vendors to provide timely shipment status updates and immediately escape delays or service issues.
• Update shipment status, packing slips, loaded quantities, and delivered quantities in company systems and project trackers.
• Review logistics invoices for accuracy against agreed rates, services performed, and applicable purchase orders.
• Coordinate invoice discrepancies, credits, claims, and other freight-related issues with vendors and Finance.
• Monitor transportation costs and identify unnecessary detention, demurrage, storage, or accessorial charges.
• Work closely with Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, Production, Warehouse, and Compliance teams to resolve project issues.
• Support continuous improvement of logistics trackers, templates, SOPs, reporting tools, and operational processes.
• Assist with project closeout by confirming final deliveries, outstanding invoices, and completion of logistics activities.
