Job summary

VF Corporation seeks a Manager, Global Logistics Procurement Projects to lead strategic initiatives across air, ocean, ground, parcel, and 3PL services, aligning sourcing strategies with regional teams in AMER, EMEA, and APAC.

You will negotiate contracts, drive cost savings, and manage transformation projects from planning through implementation, partnering with Procurement, Finance, Legal, and Operations to enhance service levels and resilience.

Qualifications

• Foundation skills include negotiating complex logistics contracts, strong analytical and financial modeling abilities, and excellent project/stakeholder management.
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field with 7+ years of experience in supply chain/logistics.
• Proficiency with Excel, Power BI, ERP systems and procurement platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead global transportation and logistics procurement across air, ocean, ground, parcel, warehousing, brokerage, and 3PL services, including sourcing strategy, supplier selection, contract negotiations, and carrier diversification.
• Develop logistics solutions to improve service levels, supply chain efficiency, lead times, fill rates, and total landed cost while supporting inbound material flow and business objectives.
• Manage strategic relationships with logistics providers, overseeing pricing, contracts, performance, KPI reviews, continuous improvement initiatives, and network optimization efforts.
• Lead global logistics procurement and transformation projects from planning through implementation, managing timelines, budgets, stakeholder communications, milestones, and change management activities.
• Partner cross-functionally with Procurement, Supply Chain, Finance, Legal, Operations, and regional teams to align logistics strategies with organizational goals and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Analyze transportation spend, market trends, and network performance to identify optimization opportunities, develop business cases, and drive cost savings, value creation, and informed sourcing decisions.
• Establish and monitor logistics budgets, financial performance, supplier scorecards, and operational metrics to improve decision-making and overall supply chain effectiveness.
• Drive supply chain resilience through supplier governance, risk management, business continuity planning, contingency strategies, and new supplier implementations.
