Responsibilities

• Develop and provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers at all times.
• Provide responsible supervision and control for all departmental activities; assist in staff training and meetings.
• Oversee shipment documentation for accuracy and compliance with regulations.
• Compute duties, tariffs, weight and volume; liaise with customs for releases.
• Establish and revise policies for customs clearance operations.
• Identify areas of concern in import/export processes and monitor performance.
• Communicate with operations manager; maintain after-hours on-call rotation.
• Participate in department projects related to assigned area.
