Job summary

Midland Industries is seeking a Global Logistics Manager to lead and optimize inbound/outbound freight across the U.S. and Canada and coordinate cross-border shipments.

You will manage ocean carriers, brokers, and 3PLs, implement standardized processes, and align logistics with procurement, finance, and operations. This role requires a strategic thinker with 7+ years in supply chain logistics, strong negotiation skills, and leadership experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 7+ years in logistics, transportation, distribution, or supply chain.
• 3+ years leading teams, projects, carriers, or cross-functional logistics.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute global logistics strategy for inbound from suppliers to NA.
• Lead cross-border logistics, customs docs, and compliance across US/Canada.
• Negotiate contracts, manage freight spend, and measure service levels.
• Standardize processes, SOPs, and performance metrics across locations.
• Lead logistics integration for acquisitions and collaboration with internal partners.
