Job summary

Urschel, a 100% employee-owned manufacturer in Chesterton, Indiana, seeks a Global Logistics Supervisor to lead domestic and international shipping and support Urschel’s trade compliance program.

The role reports to the Customer Operations Manager and requires strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. You will monitor logistics performance, address issues, and drive process improvements in a non-remote, on-site setting.

Qualifications

• Experience leading logistics activities domestic and international.
• Knowledge of trade compliance and carrier management.
• Strong communication and leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day domestic and international shipping activities (LTL, FTL, small-parcel).
• Ensure trade compliance requirements are followed and escalate when needed.
• Serve as escalation point for transportation, documentation, customs, and shipment issues.
• Monitor performance and implement process improvements.
