Job summary

Novo Nordisk A/S in Boulder is seeking a Logistics Specialist to oversee and execute domestic logistics for the CMC site. You will be the primary contact for shipment activities, coordinating end-to-end movement of research materials and drug products, ensuring compliance, and communicating with stakeholders.

This role drives process improvements, supports international shipments, and collaborates with QA, CMOs, and other teams to optimize inventory and costs while maintaining product integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university with 2+ years in pharma or related industry.
• Strong teamwork and ability to influence across stakeholders.
• Effective communication to all organization levels.
• Excellent presentation and organizational skills.
• Experience with import/export and GMP familiarity.
• Proficient in Excel.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for domestic Logistics at Boulder site.
• Coordinate shipments for research materials, raw materials, drug substances/products.
• Prepare shipment data, milestones, customs clearance, and PODs.
• Support international shipments and global trade compliance.
• Improve tracking system and leverage Novo Nordisk HQ processes.
• Manage outsourced inventory and lead CAPA investigations with QA.
• Review shipping costs and ensure temperature-controlled shipments.
