Job summary

Novo Nordisk is seeking a Senior Supply Chain Manager to oversee supplier performance, cost control, and capacity planning for multiple external warehouses in a regulated environment. You will drive global logistics initiatives, lead strategic projects, and manage stakeholder relationships to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

Responsibilities include budgeting, cost monitoring, and facilitating cross-functional collaboration to ensure compliant, timely delivery across the supply chain.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and 4+ years of logistics experience with external warehouses in a regulated environment.
• In lieu of BS, an Associate Degree with 6+ years of logistics experience in a regulated environment.

Responsibilities

• Own supplier relationships and external warehouse accountability.
• Develop annual budgets and monitor costs; report deviations to senior management.
• Lead supplier performance reviews and drive improvements when constraints arise.
• Manage complex change projects including capacity extensions and compliance (GxP).
• Oversee outsourcing to Global Business Services and clarify roles.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to translate insights into cost/budget implications.
• Monitor operations and escalate capacity challenges to management.
• Prepare scenario analyses with pros/cons and cost implications.
