Job summary

Americase, a Texas-based manufacturer and distributor of protective cargo cases, seeks a qualified Logistics Manager to lead shipping across three Texas facilities. You will oversee inbound/outbound freight, CBP compliance, and FTZ-related activities, ensuring accurate documentation and efficient cross-border operations.

The role requires hands-on leadership, experience with FTZ operations, and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, Business, or a related field.
7+ years of logistics or trade compliance experience.
2+ years supervising shipping, logistics, or compliance teams.
Experience with CBP entries, HTS classification, valuation, origin, and export controls.
Experience with U.S.–Mexico cross-border shipping and international freight.

Responsibilities

Lead shipping operations at all three Texas facilities, ensuring outbound shipments are complete, on time, properly packaged and documented.
Own the in-transit tracker for inbound/outbound shipments, communicating delays before shortages occur.
Manage ocean and air freight from international suppliers, including bookings and port-to-door delivery.
Oversee manufacturing partner shipments to Mexico and other countries, and returns to the U.S. or abroad.
Develop freight strategy and partner with procurement on terms and Incoterms.
Lead carrier, freight forwarder, and customs broker negotiations and performance management.
Own the freight budget, track spend by lane and mode, and optimize costs.
