Job summary

Blue Diamond Growers seeks a Senior Director, Global Logistics to lead enterprise-wide logistics and customer service strategy and execution across domestic and international markets. This role owns end-to-end movement, compliance, and post-sale experience, partnering with multiple functions to align service with business priorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Operations, International Business, or a related field.
• 12+ years of progressive experience across logistics, transportation, distribution, global supply chain, customer service, or related operations, including leadership of complex or global functions.
• Experience leading global transportation across multiple modes: ocean, truck, rail, air, cargo, port operations, intermodal shipping.
• Experience managing 3PL warehousing providers, freight forwarders, carriers, customs brokers, and other external logistics partners.
• Experience leading or overseeing global B2B customer service, order execution, and post-sale service operations.
• 5+ years of people leadership experience, including leaders and managers, talent development, and organizational change.
• Experience managing budgets, freight spend, vendor relationships, contracts, performance metrics, and trade-offs.
• Strong KPI, dashboards, root-cause analysis, data-driven decision making, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Proven ERP/MRP/logistics systems experience; ability to lead tool adoption to improve visibility and execution.
• APICS/CSCMP/Lean/Six Sigma or related certifications a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set and lead the enterprise strategy for global logistics and customer service across functions.
• Oversee end-to-end transportation, warehousing, compliance, and post-sale customer support.
• Own logistics planning, deployment, and inventory positioning to meet demand and production needs.
• Manage 3PL warehousing, contracts, capacity, service levels, and inventory accuracy.
• Lead global customer service with KPIs, OTIF, EDI adoption, and scorecards.
• Drive continuous improvement, cost savings, and network optimization across Logistics and Customer Service.
• Partner with Finance, Procurement, and IT to implement systems and budgets.
